Microsoft reveals more specifications for the upcoming Xbox Series X platform





The American tech giant confirmed in a post on its blog that ( Xbox Series X) will have a 12 teraflop graphics processor, which makes it twice the current Xbox One X platform, and it is stronger than the (Xbox One) platform Eight times.

Microsoft said: It will develop its own form of shading technology known as VRS, and added that this technology will lead to stable frame rates and higher resolution, with no effect on the final quality of the image.

The company also announced that ( Xbox Series X) will come with a specially designed CPU based on the Zen 2, and Radeon RDNA 2 from AMD. Microsoft also revealed that the platform will use an NVMe SSD internal storage disk, which promises to enhance download time and improves the gaming experience.

 Xbox Series X will also support 8K gameplay and a frame rate of 120fps. The company said: It has cooperated with the HDMI forum and TV manufacturers to enable the Auto Low Latency Mode and Variable Refresh Rate on the platform as part of the support for the HDMI 2.1 port. HDMI 2.1. This will reduce input lag, and become smoother when playing on TVs.

In addition to hardware specifications, the gaming platform will get the next generation of the (fast resume) feature, which Microsoft used a similar feature on the Xbox One platform to resume games, but now it promises to allow  Xbox Series X owners to resume multiple games from standby .

Microsoft also said: It will support backward compatibility on the platform, which allows games (Xbox 360) and (Xbox 360) platforms to be played on it. This, and the company promised to announce more details regarding the specifications of the upcoming gaming platform in the coming months.
